Where required these training qualifications are subject to rigorous external scrutiny by the First Aid Approvals and Monitoring Section (FAAMS) of the HSE and the official regulators of qualifications in England, Wales & Northern Ireland - OfQual, and the official regulator in Scotland - SQA.
In keeping with current good practice the training function provided by ASTraining is separate from the awarding function provided by ITC. ITC is an accredited Awarding Organisation whose full name is ITC First Aid Ltd. We are approved and accredited by ITC following a rigorous approval process, ensuring consistent quality standards on all ASTraining courses.
